Who We Are

Randy Murray Productions, powerful storytelling for positive change. Award-winning, highly skilled and genuinely nice people, we create socially responsible content for screens of all types. We are fearless artists, producers, directors, writers, explorers, passionate livers of life - storytellers - who try to be good humans. We study humanity and technology, explore the beautiful, challenge the horrid, celebrate logic and employ ethics - all to be the best at what we do and tell great stories.
Strategic objectives guide our creative process and lead us to story based solutions that are focused on a predetermined viewer response. At every juncture we make decisions based on what’s right for the project and we work creatively, transparently, collaboratively and efficiently. Whether tackling tough issues in documentaries or TV shows, leading viewers to feel the power of need in a community, maybe even cry, or creating laughter to help sell a product that can increase efficiency and quality of life – we approach the job of ‘telling a story’ the same way.
RMP is fortunate to work with amazing talent, of all types. With a small full-time staff and a big roster of freelance artists – we keep overhead low and quality high. We are a small shop with a big reach.

Theresa may be one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Seriously. Talk to her and you will end up with a smile. With a background in accounting and legal services, a solid understanding of business operations and the entertainment industry she keeps the balance sheet in the black and ensures that clients and vendors experience fantastic service. As the Operations Director, Theresa not only keeps the balance sheet in check but also maintains balance in the office as well.  She handles actualizing, accounts payable/receivable, staffing and ensures all the i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed. Plus, she is a great copy editor that we all like to lean on.  For fun, Theresa loves to entertain, hike, does really cool craft projects and will try anything that her kids are into-like restoring a Vespa.
Andy Nelson

Randy and Theresa Murray, formed Randy Murray Productions in 1991 as a small creative boutique that told stories with film and video for broadcast and business.  The company quickly grew into a source of creative content and a reliable resource for productions coming to Arizona. In 1995 Randy Murray Productions created its own post-production company, Postal.  In 2002 Randy Murray Productions joined Ken Easley Photography to purchase the historic KPHO television studio in downtown Phoenix and renovated it into First Studio, a production center housing a number of entertainment-based companies. Randy and Theresa soon brought on their first full-time employees, Ellen and Andrew (who coincidently share the same birthdate). In 2007, we established our LA office. In 2009, Andy joined the team. Today, we work with a beautiful bounty of freelancers and are growing rapidly.
